The software programs on this page fall into three basic categories: Computer security, business and personal productivity, and recreational and educational. If you are interested in a particular field, please go directly to that area below.
You may try these programs for a period of either 10 or 30 days (depending on the program) without paying for them. If, at the end of the trial period, you decide that you wish to continue using the program, you can do so by paying the registration fee to obtain the unlock code. Web Site Zapper (wszarc.exe) - A Windows
95/98/2000/ME/XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 (does not work on NT) Internet
security program that gives you control over what Web pages can be viewed on
your computer, allowing you to control Web
access. Web Site Zapper will block Web sites by
redirecting and then closing down Web browsers that are showing undesirable
sites, providing you with Internet
access control. You can either create a list of undesirable sites (including
broad descriptions like any site containing "gambling" in the title or URL) or
create a list of allowed sites (like your business sites) that you want to allow
people access to. Web Site Zapper is useful in business to prevent
employees from surfing the Web on company time and at home to protect

Internet Password Lock (iplarc.exe) - A Windows
2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8 (does not work on 95/98/Me/NT) Internet security
program that will block
Internet access (Web, email, Instant Messaging, etc.) until you input a
password. You can either completely lock Internet
access, or you can selectively disable specific Internet functions such as
Web surfing, email, or Instant Messaging. This allows you to restrict
Internet access. This is useful for parents to protect
their children by controlling their Internet access. It is also useful for
businesses to control Internet
use by employees. This can save money
by preventing employees from wasting time on the Internet when they should be

Clock
Guard (cgarc.exe) - A
Windows computer security
program that will lock your computer clock to prevent you from changing the
computer time without a password. This can be important to prevent employee theft of time at
companies that have time clock programs that keep track of when employees start
and stop work. A surprising number of these programs have no way of stopping the
employees from changing the computer clock before punching in or out. It can
also be important for parents who have software on their computers to restrict
when the children can use the computer, since some of this software has no
protection against the children simply changing the system clock. For more

Software Time Lock (stlarc.exe) - Computer
security program. Allows you to block access to the Web, individual
programs, or the entire computer during selected time periods for each day of
the week. Also allows you to control for how long the Internet, individual
programs, or the computer itself can be used in total for each day of the
week. You can use this program to protect
children from harmful information on the Internet, or for security in a
business to prevent
unauthorized use of the computer outside of business hours. For more

Computer
Payment Enforcer (cpearc.exe) is a computer
program that helps you to collect payments for computers that you have sold on
credit or are renting out. Installed on a computer you are selling or leasing,
it will lock down the computer when payments are overdue. In order to unlock the
computer, the person must input a payment code, which you supply once they have

Password Shield
(pwsarc.exe) let you give
people (such as your employees) access to secure sites without actually giving them the passwords. Employees can input a password by
clicking on a site name from a list in Password Shield, but never see the
password. Password Shield also records who accesses what sites and when. For

Settings Lock (slarc.exe) is a software
program for Windows computers that allows you to password protect 14 Windows
settings and functions. These settings are: The computer clock time and date,
System Restore, Video display properties, such as wallpaper and screen saver
(called Display Personalization in Vista), Internet Options, Add/Remove Programs
(called Programs and Features in Vista), User Accounts, Windows Security Center,
System Properties, Add Hardware Wizard, Network Connects and Setup Wizard
(called Network and Sharing Center in Vista), Properties of individual files
(such as read-only), Task Manager, Windows Explorer and My Computer folder

Program Selector
Pro - Computer security
program. Replaces Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP (NOT Vista or Windows
7) interface (icons, start menu) with a user configurable pick list of program
names. Each program can be password protected, as can access to Windows itself.
Modification of the pick list (adding or removing programs) is also password
protected. Provides access control and
usage management
for your computer. Allow you to restrict which programs people use. Useful in
home or business to control computer use. Includes virus protection and uninstall
feature. There are different versions for Windows 95/98/ME, Windows 2000/XP, and

Drive Blocker (dbarc.exe) is a computer security
program for Windows XP computers. It disables and blocks access to removable
drives, such as flash drives, and removable media, such as CD's or floppies.
Prevent theft of sensitive company data and installation of unauthorized
software on company computers. Reduces virus infections. For more

Program
Sentry (prsenarc.exe) - Computer
security program. This is a less intrusive (although somewhat less
thorough) alternative to Program Selector Pro. It allows you to either create a
list of prohibited programs or a list of allowed programs. Any program that is
on the prohibited list or is not on the allowed list is blocked from running.
Each program can also be password protected to allow you to unblock the program.
Provides access
control and usage
management for your computer. Allows restrictions on which programs people
use. Useful in home or business to control computer use. Work on Windows
95/98/ME/2000/XP/Vista/Windows 7.Does not work on Windows NT. For more

Computer
Rental Controller (crcarc.exe) - Computer access control
program that allows you to easily rent or sell computer time on your computer.
Generates a list of passwords, each of which allows access to the computer for a
period of time selected by you. You can also set up a list of passwords that
provide unlimited time, but have Computer Rental Controller keep track of how
much time each password is used for so you can bill people for their computer
usage. This is Internet Cafe
software or computer kiosk

Program And Internet Rental
Software (PAIRSarc.exe) - Computer access control
program that allows you to easily rent or sell access to specific programs
or functions (like Internet access) on your computer. Generates a list of
passwords, each of which allows access a specific program for a period
of time selected by you. You can also set up a list of passwords that provide
unlimited time, but have Program and Internet Rental Software
keep track of how much time each password is used for each program so you can

Computer Use
Reporter - Find out what your employees or children are doing on the
computer. Computer Use Reporter covertly
monitors what programs are used on the computer, what files or Web sites
these programs access, when they are accessed, and which user is on the computer

AutoBackup - (aubuarc.exe) - allows you
to easily back up critical files. It is particularly useful if you have a
specific set of files you need to back up frequently. It is also useful if you
simply want to routinely copy certain files to a floppy for transport to another
computer. You can input a specific list of files that you want to back up. This
list can also include general file masks, such as C:\My Documents\*.* (all files
in the "My Documents" folder), when you want to backup up an entire group of
files. Once you have selected this list of files and/or file masks, you can
easily make backup copies of all these files at the click of a mouse button. You
can even tell AutoBackup to automatically back up all
your critical files when you exit Windows. Although AutoBackup is particularly useful if you have a specific
group of files that need to be backed up regularly, it can also be used as a
general backup program. You can tell AutoBackup to
simply back up all the files on any drives you select that have changed today,

What Changed (whcharc.exe) - a
combination disk backup and system monitoring utility for Windows. It enables
you to take a "snapshot" or record of the contents of your hard disks and
compare them to your hard disk files in the future. You can automatically back
up any files that have changed or been added to your hard disks. You can also
find any changes that might account for any problems you have developed with
your system, such as corrupted or missing files. For a more detailed

Disk Change Monitor (dcmarc.exe) - A hard
disk monitoring utility for Windows . It automatically records changes in
your hard disk files. You can automatically back up any files that have changed
or been added to your hard disks. You can also find any changes that might
account for any problems you have developed with your system, such as corrupted
or missing files. It also allows you to monitor the use of your computer in
various ways, including what Web sites have been visited recently and what hours
your computer was turned on. This program has a lot of uses. For more

File Guardian (fgarc.exe) - A Windows
computer security
program that protects your files from being changed. File Guardian allows
you to specify a list of files you want monitored and how often you want File
Guardian to check these files. If File Guardian finds that one of these files
has been changed when it performs this check, it will automatically restore the
file to original condition. It is particularly useful on Web servers to protect
your Web site from being infected with viruses or from being vandalized. It can
be used in other applications where you do not want files changed. For more

Complete Program Deleter for Windows (version 4.0) (wcpdarc.exe) - A program uninstaller that
makes it easy to remove a program from your hard disk if you decide you do not
like it. This version requires Windows 95/98/2000/NT/ME/XP. Windows 3.1 is no

Date Calculator
(datecarc.exe) -
Performs a variety of calendar related functions useful in business and finance. It
will display a calendar for any month of any year. It will calculate the number
of days
between any two dates, optionally only counting certain days of the week,
such as Monday through Friday. It can also calculate the date
a certain number of days before or after a given date, again optionally only
counting certain user selected days of the week. It can show a perpetual calendar

Picture Me Photo Manipulation Software (spmarc.exe) - This software allows you to easily insert
people's heads, bodies, or other objects into other pictures. Put people's heads
on animals, sexy bodies, or into outlandish scenes. Many scenes are provided, or

Project Deadline Countdown Timer
Manager (pdctmarc.exe) -
Displays a list of all projects and tasks you are working on, arranged
chronologically starting with the one due soonest. Shows how long each one has
until it must be completed, updated every minute. Displays project name, status,
due date time until due, and an unlimited number of comments that you can attach
to each project. After you have deleted a project form the list, it goes into a
separate list of completed projects that you can refer to for record keeping.

Difference Calculator (tdcarc.exe) -
Calculates the number of hours and minutes between two times and date. Also will
calculate the time and date a given number of hours and minutes before or after

Multiple Form Filler (mffarc.exe) - Multiple Form
Filler is a Windows software program that allows you to easily fill out multiple
document forms and spreadsheets with the same information. This is particularly
useful for businesses such as doctors offices that must fill out many forms for

Windows computer software program that allows you to easily replace text

Retriever (irarc.exe) - A simple and
easy solution to information retrieval. This program lets you store
pieces of data (which can be anything) along with a handle for each one. You can
retrieve the data by typing any portion (even a few characters) of the handle.
Look up data on people with only a few letters of their names, etc. Retrieved

Draw-On-Screen (dosarc.exe) - A simple and
easy program that lets you draw on the computer screen
with the mouse. This program is useful for people who give presentations by
projecting the computer screen for the audience, or just for fun. You can draw
arrows, circles, etc on any form you have on the screen for illustration purpose

No-Keys for Windows (w32nkarc.exe) - A virtual
onscreen keyboard that
you can type on using a mouse or track ball. Keys you type are sent to
another Windows program selected by you. Allows you to type in word processors,

Countdown Clock (ccarc.exe) is a
Windows computer software program that displays a continuous countdown in
years, days, hours, minutes and seconds to any event of your choosing. It comes
with several built in events, but you can create your own custom events. It also
allows you to customize the display colors and font size, and can dock itself to
the top of your screen. You can also program in a popup display for the

(cesarc.exe) is a free
program that will save energy if you use an old fashioned CRT computer monitor.
It saves energy by blacking out parts of the screen that are not in use. For use

Finder (wfarc.exe) - Word Finder has
a list of words in a file. It will find words from that file with
characteristics you want, like starting or ending with certain letters,
containing or not containing certain letters, having certain lengths, and so on.

Windows (wgharc.exe) - A
Windows program that stores any number of golf scores for any number of
players and performs a running golf
handicap calculation and net score calculation for each game. For more

Tracker and Team Optimizer for Windows (toarc.exe) - A
